William J. Bower Jr. in Lexington, South Carolina, born in Suffern, New York, passed away on November 8, 2021. He was 96 years of age.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred H. Bower and William J. Bower, Sr.; his former wife Marjorie L. Bower; his siblings, Ruth Jersey of Fort Montgomery, NY, Dorothy E. Bower Aventurato of West Haverstraw, NY and Richard H. Bower of Tupper Lake, NY; and also Ethel Anderson Bower of Tupper Lake, NY. With deep sorrow, his second wife, Florence A. Hochreiter Bower, passed away shortly after William.

William is survived by: his children, Wayne C. Bower (Joy) of Rock Hill, Christine L. Rickert (Mark) of Waterford, VA, Susan L. Bushinski (David) of Belleville, MI, Doris H. McKee (Tim) of Rock Hill and Charles J. Hochreiter (Brenda) of Rock Hill; and his cousins, Mary L. Bower of Burlington, VT and James Bower of Callahan, FL. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited for the committal service scheduled to take place at Mt. Repose Cemetery on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 1 pm.
